Ministry: Russia can raise budget spending by 5 tln rbl/yr '23–25

MOSCOW, Aug 10 (PRIME) – The Russian ministries and agenies have sent applications to raise budget spending in 2023–2025 by 5 trillion rubles per year, the Finance Ministry said on Wednesday.

"The workgroup of the government's commission for budget estimates for the next financial year and the planned period has considered the applications of the ministries and agencies on additional federal budget spending in 2023 and the planned period of 2024 and 2025. The applications state the need for additional financing of about 5 trillion rubles annually," the statement read.
